1. What did you do in 2011 that you’d never done before?
Got a real freaking job! Full time, permanent, PENSION, all that jazz. Moved in with my manfriend. Or rather, he moved in with me. Played on a softball team!
2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
New Year’s Resolutions suck and no one actually keeps them. I didn’t...
Finally back on the internet after meeting the manfriend`s folks in America and my own family`s big Christmas dinner. Phew! Now: tumblr alllllll night.

At home for Christmas. My dad, after a bit of wine, starts telling me about the time he slept under a bridge somewhere in the American midwest on his way back from Mexico in 1971. My mother walks in to the room. I make a bad joke.
Me: Mum, would you be okay if I slept under a bridge?
Her: Would you be alone?
Me: Yes.
Her: (pauses for a moment) Which bridge?
